In November of last year, Gibson Kerr proudly participated in Will Aid 2015 for the 7th year. Last year’s campaign was a huge success, all of the solicitors that took part helped raise over £1m! We would like to thank all of our clients that helped us raise £650; which will go a long way to help the nine charities that are involved.
We have signed up again for Will Aid next year. So this November, we will be asking our participating will aid clients to make a donation to Will Aid in return for a basic will and get behind the campaign once again.
What is Will Aid?
Will Aid is a special partnership between the legal profession and nine of the UK’s most loved charities. Every November, participating solicitors waive their fee for writing a basic Will. Instead, they invite the participating clients to make a donation to Will Aid. Each year, thousands of people use the Will Aid scheme. They not only gain peace of mind by writing their Will, they help fund life-changing charity work at the same time.
Will Aid’s has been running since 1988. During that time over 275,000 people have made a Will through the scheme and got the peace of mind that comes from knowing that their loved ones are protected if the worst happens. The scheme has raised an amazing £16m for the vital work of the Will Aid charities in the UK and around the world. More information about Will Aid can be found on their website.
