A dog lover from Fort Worth, Texas, has named his pet dog as the beneficiary to his estate, reports KVUE.
Kenneth Bortz had intended to leave his estate to his partner, but after his partner’s death he changed his will to leave his fortune to his dogs. When Mr Bortz died, only one of his dogs, Lucky, remained.
Mr Bortz was a keen collector, and his estate consists of a large collection of antique furniture, fine china and silver. The items will be sold at estate sales and auctions, with the money going towards Lucky’s care. After Lucky dies, the remainder of the money will go to Mr Bortz’s nieces and nephews.
