Professional Experience
Laura Brown completed her LLB and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Strathclyde. After completing her traineeship at a legal aid firm in Glasgow primarily dealing with family and child law, Laura joined Gibson Kerr in September 2023 as a newly qualified solicitor in the family department.
Laura is familiar with all aspects of family law, in particular contact and residence disputes. She also advises on separation, divorce and cohabitation. She has experience appearing in the Sheriff Court all over Scotland and instructing Counsel. Laura also has experience in Children’s Hearings all over Scotland. Laura works collaboratively with clients to get to know them in order to resolve matters in a way that meets their individual needs.
